I was born in LA and my parents divorced when I was 2. When I was five we moved to NM to try and start a new life. I started to excel at a young age. I have always been very young compared to my peers because I have an early birthday and I skipped first grade. I believe this has forced me to mature beyond my years. I never found school challenging until I moved back to LA. I moved back because of an excellent school, but left later because of many hardships. I have endured many things in my life. This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity and would help me reach my dream of film school.
