SUNY Oswego's 690-acre residential campus includes 1 1/2 miles of shoreline on the southeastern edge of Lake Ontario in the City of Oswego and 35 miles northwest of Syracuse. Founded in 1861, Oswego now offers an exceptionally diverse curriculum with 110 academic programs offered through four separate schools (Business; Education; Liberal Arts & Science; Communication, Media & the Arts). Our nationally recognized programs for first-year students; increasing opportunities for service learning, internships, and study abroad; extensive intercollegiate and recreational opportunities and over 150 clubs and organizations make the Oswego experience an outstanding college choice.

Oswego is ranked among the nation’s top public colleges by the Princeton Review and in the top tier of master’s colleges by U.S. News and World Report’s America’s Best Colleges.
