That unhappy marriage... I want to help
I would love to become a Marriage and Family Counselor. Why? Well, for a time, I was confused about what I wanted to do with my life. Upon pondering the apparent important things in life, I realized that every human desires interaction with other humans and that every human has a desire to mate with another (pardon my degrading of humanity by referring to them like animals). That lead me to want to have a career in which to help people (sociology, psychology, something medical), but I needed to narrow it down.

Well, I liked listening to other people's relationship problems and they said my advice was helpful, and then I also considered how America's divorce rate his ridiculously high. That meant unhappy marriage was a leading factor of general unhappiness for the couple and those around them, SO, I pretty much decided that's what I want to help solve. If there is any chance that I can help people have happier marriages, thus also reducing stress in their loved one's lives as well, then I want to do that. Besides, I think that with divorce rates so high and climbing, I'll never have to worry about not having work (pardon my double-negative).

My my! I already have written two paragraphs and not discussed much about myself! Time to fix that! Well, I was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Minnesota when I was two (I don't remember Pennsylvania at all, so it holds no significance to me). I spent a blissful early childhood in Minnesota and then we moved to Carlsbad, California when I was 10. I've lived here ever since, but southern Cali is not for me. I will move away some day, hopefully soon, but as long as i don't spend the rest of my life here, that will be fine with me.

As far as colleges and scholarships go, I just want some scholarship money to help me pay to go to a nicer college to get a good education. I don't want to go to a crappy college, not learn properly, and be unable to fully help people. I would prefer o go to another state, but out-of-state schools are to expensive, so i'll have to make do with California State Universities.

Time to discuss my hobbies! I did a lot of acting in high school, and I still love acting in plays (specifically comedies) and musicals (pretty much any musical). Being in choir in high school taught me to like singing, and now i only sing for my personal enjoyment, but I would love the opportunity to sing for some sort of event. I also love playing piano and I've been playing for about 12 years. As far as music goes, I have a very wide range of tastes. I enjoy original, creative, thought-provoking, different, emotion-provoking, and talent-required music. In fact, I am so intrigued by music/sound, that I might as well be my 2nd religion! I don't think I'm good enough to become a music major, so that's why I'm scared of making a career out of it. I also love creative writing of any sort. I love writing poems, short stories, long stories, and songs, but I haven't written anything for a while.

Lastly, I enjoy analyzing my own thought patterns and pondering hypothetical situations. I love philosophy in general and thinking about why things matter. People may find me strange, but I find them strange for going about life and not knowing why or if it even matters.

Anyway, that's a "short" summary of some important things in my life. If you'd like to know more (actually, I can't even imagine someone would be even interested enough to finish reading this, so if you've made it this far, then congratulations! You win a free.... um, cookie or something of equal or greater value) then you can always message me. I enjoy conversation and would enjoy talking with you. =)

P.S. I will be transferring to California State University in San Marcos for Fall 2011 to finish my Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I don't want to go to this school, but I'm just going here to save money and then transfer to a nicer school for my Masters Degree.
