Jaclyn Morris
Follow messageHello! You have stumbled upon the page of a charismatic, smart, and sarcastic 16 year old with huge dreams and a potential to change the world. I am a fantastic student (future Salutatorian!), a caring citizen (I play bingo at the old folk's home), and a committed person (I work hard at everything I do). So how do I stand out from other kids? I'm not sure. Maybe I'm just as normal and special as everyone else. But one thing I do know is that I don't give up on my dreams. In less than a year, I plan on being Salutatorian and entering college as a sophomore. An impossible feat? Not for me.
*Update: I'm 18, a college junior, and English major. Go Ducks!
Extracurricular
- Junior Varsity Softball
- I played JV Softball for a while and I really liked it. I loved the girls on the team and the fun we had together. I discontinued playing because I need to focus more on my studies, although I will probably play recreationally in the future.
- Photography
- I really enjoy taking pictures of nature and people. This year (11th) I have had the opportunity to take a Photography class and it's been extremely rewarding and I've learned a lot. I still don't know everything about taking photographs, but it's a trial
- Crafts
- I've always been a crafty person. Every project I'm assigned, I go all out and decorate my poster, tri-fold, etc. and make it look amazing. I've recently gotten the DIY bug, and I've been making gifts for my friends and family, crocheting my own winter so

- In Art Club, we organized exhibits and shows for our school's art students. We also participated in the annual Chalk Art Weekend where all the artists in our town decorate a street with chalk paintings.

- In Honor Society, we organize community service work, such as Christmas Baskets and Food Drives, for our school. We are also in charge of one of the dances each year.
- Friday Night Bingo
- Every other Friday, my grandma and I visit a local nursing home to play bingo with the residents. My great-grandma shows up to every game and we have regulars that always come to play.
