Hope College is a liberal arts school affiliated with the Reformed Church of America. It is located in the Dutch settlement of Holland, a large community in a popular summer resort area just 5 miles from beautiful Lake Michigan.

Students at Hope can choose from 87 majors leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Each Phelps Scholars Program participant spends their freshman year in Scott Hall, one of Hope's eleven residence halls. Scott Hall has 50 rooms and is equipped with WIFI internet access, an attractive lobby, computer lab, basement lounge with ping-pong table, pool table, and TV, full kitchen, and laundry room.
