Jojo Zinch, I pulled up the website you gave me for Hillsdale's education program and it sounded like Hillsdale was not going to continue to recommend their students for teacher certification after 2011. I'm a bit confused then, if this is indeed the case, what exactly their education program will be doing, if students who complete it will not be able to obtain certification? If possible, could you please clarify? Thanks, -Ashley

Hey Ashley, that is a very good question! I am not quite exactly sure about what will happen with their program and do not wish to give you any false information. Don't hesitate to contact Hillsdale College with your question and they will be happy to help you! Find their contact info here: http://www.hillsdale.edu/admissions/askus/askus.asp

How are Hillsdale's education and foreign language programs? Also, being that it is rather remote, what kinds of things are there to do on (or off) campus?

Go to their page to find out more about their education and foreign language programs here: http://www.hillsdale.edu/academics/majors.asp and find out a little bit about life at Hillsdale College here: http://www.hillsdale.edu/studentlife/default.asp

Frankly, there's not a ton to do on (or off) of campus, which is pretty much the only turn-down of the school. If you want do do something besides go to the park/lake/Walmart, you'll have to drive to either 1. Jackson, or 2. Ann Arbor.

And the foreign language programs are good. I am a Spanish major and am friends with German and French majors, and it's a really good program. And the school's been around since 1841, so it's academic classes are pretty much second-to-none.
