  • Some of Henderson's most talented students presented outstanding performances Tuesday during the annual President's Concert which, this year, honored Interim President Bobby Jones. The performers were: Orlando Riveros (international student) on piano; Kevin Sutton of Texarkana on soprano saxophone; Lauren Honea of Hope, soprano; Danielle Lyle of Hot Springs, piccolo; and Darnell Rhone of Texarkana, tenor.

The Henderson State University Wind Ensemble will perform a pre-All-State concert Friday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Arkansas Hall. The free concert will feature a wide variety of music, as well as the Chamber Choir, several HSU faculty soloists and guest conductors.
