The Spring 2012 valedictorians were Lauren Ferrier Pollock, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, representing the undergraduate degree programs; Matthew Wilson, Master of Arts in Communication, representing the graduate degree programs; and Toni-Anne Marie Mannino, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, representing HPU Military Campus Programs.

Carlos Juarez, Ph.D., chairman of the Hawai‘i Pacific University Department of Social Sciences, has been elected president of the Hawai‘i chapter of the Fulbright Association.The Fulbright program is the flagship program sponsored by the U.S. government to support and promote international educational and cultural exchange.
