- i volunteered at the community college to help out with the Christmas craft fair. i helped "shoppers" carry items and ran the lay away table.

- i help every year at the JFK 50 mile race, handing food and drinks to runners, taking times, and recording their racing numbers.
- i aided elementary teachers and helped 4th graders to read.

- i was a server during the oyster,ham, and turkey feed, serving dinner and dessert to "customers".
