Currently I am a sophomore at Furman University. Though I know I will graduate with a degree in trumpet performance (my scholarship kind of requires it), I am currently toying with the idea of pursuing a double in Economics. No matter what, I am that kid you seeing working backstage at the theater, performing on stage, or working in the library (both behind the desk and at the tables). I do not give up on my dreams (currently? become a musicology professor). Instead, I run towards them full blast and destroy the obstacles in my way. And now it is back to the books, the salt mines, whatever you want to call it. The music department, Sigma Alpha Iota, my jobs, and my possible double major are enough to keep me busy but still energized by the prospects of what the future may hold.
