I like to go by Gaby and I love to sing and dance a lot. I also do a lot of reading when I have time. According to my parents, I can be very stubborn and persistent. I'm pretty open to new things and I like the idea of traveling. I write poetry and am part of a spoken word group in my school. I'm a vegetarian and have a bee phobia. I'm sure there's a lot more things I could say about myself, but I always have a bit of a hard time talking about myself.

Spoken Word (MC-iT)

We're basically a student run spoken word group and we organize Open Mic's during the school year for those people who want to share their work. We also go on trips and perform our poetry. We help each other improve our writing and performance skills.

Robotics

This organization helps teenagers get together and work on making our community a better place. For a few years we worked on drugs and alcohol and even attended a few city council meetings to help make a difference and put our input on what we saw going o

Volunteered at my local public library

I cleaned books, fixed them, kept the shelves organized, worked as a translator, and checked books that were to be sent out to another branch.

Though I didn't have a chance to work there for very long, I helped out at their thrift shop. I organized the shop, priced the items, worked at the cash register, and also translated a bit.
