Embry-Riddle's reputation as the leader in aviation and aerospace education is recognized worldwide. More than twenty undergraduate degree programs are offered at the Daytona Beach campus. Our premier aeronautical science (professional pilot) program and award-winning aerospace engineering program are the largest on campus and among the largest of their type in the nation. Additional engineering programs include mechanical, civil, software, electrical, computer and engineering physics. A common first year curriculum allows exploration of the various engineering disciplines. The College of Aviation offers majors in aircraft maintenance, aerospace electronics, safety science, applied meteorology, homeland security and air traffic management. In the Business Administration program, students choose between a major in management or air transportation. Human factors psychology, communication, space physics and an option to design your own major are offered through the College of Arts and Sciences. Approximately 4,800 undergraduate students and 400 graduate students are enrolled at the Daytona Beach residential campus. Students come from all fifty states and nearly 100 countries are represented, making Embry-Riddle a truly international university. The flight line is adjacent to Daytona Beach International Airport and home to the campus fleet of more than 50 aircraft. An array of flight training devices, multi-million dollar simulation laboratories, sophisticated research facilities and the newest and best safety systems support student success in every field of study. Students here enjoy small class sizes, year-round flying weather, close proximity to the beach and Orlando's attractions, faculty with specialized knowledge, intramural and NAIA athletic programs, and more than 100 clubs to choose from, as well as Army, Navy and Air Force ROTC programs. Embry-Riddle's 40,000-plus alumni work in every facet of the industry, creating a strong network of support.
