Just trying to figure out my life.
After spending a year at Western Michigan University, I am now back home and going to school at our local Community college, Lake Michigan College. I decided that I didn't like WMU as much as I had hoped. At LMC, I will be completing some more general education classes to get ready to transfer to another university. There I will be studying to become an American Sign Language Interpreter. I cannot wait to begin my career as an interpreter!

Extracurricular
- All School Play
- I have had a speaking part every year. The plays have been: I remember Mama (Dagmar), The Matchmaker (Gertrude), Anne of Green Gables (Minnie Stearn), and The Tempest (Juno)
- Musical
- I have been in the chorus every year. Cinderella, The Pajama Game, Brigadoon, and South Pacific.
- Orchestra
- I am in the top orchestra. Chamber Orchestra.
- Choir
- In ninth and tenth grade I was a soprano. In eleventh and twelth grade I was an alto.
- National Honor Society
- Tutoring fellow students and volunteering through out the year.

- Helping with Sunday School
- Berrien County Youth Fair Home Economics Department
- Bringing exhibits to judges for evaluating, helping set up exhibits, typing recipes for cookbook.

- Certain seniors are a part of this group and we help the underclassmen find their way around the school at the beginning of the school year. We also give tours to the eight graders in February.
- Teach Cadet
- I go to a local elementary school four days a week for 2 hours to learn how to be a teacher and help around the classroom and with the kids.
- French Club
- I do French Club activities which include: Chicago Trip, Crepe Night, Carmel Apple Night, Movie Night, and Beach Volleyball.
- Costume Designer
- I help make costumes for my schools productions.
- Stage Manager
- I am the Stage Manager for my school play: "The Tempest" I help the technical director and student director and I call the production.

I have received five division I's at district Solo and Ensemble and two Division I's at State Solo and Ensemble for cello solo and chamber ensemble.
