Duquesne, founded in 1878, is a church-affiliated university. Programs are offered through the College of Liberal Arts; and the Schools of Business Administration, Education, Health Sciences, Music, Natural and Environmental Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy. Its 43-acre campus overlooks downtown Pittsburgh.
