I was born December 23, in Bronx New York. When I was eight months old, my mom sent me to Honduras to live with my grandmother and older siblings. I moved back to New York in 2002. Everything was different from the environment I had lived in, and although my family lived in a Hispanic community in which the schools had bilingual classes, English was my biggest setback. However, I endured everything, and within a year, I could read it and write it. Throughout the years, I got better at it. Today, I am successful student.
