We do! We are an NCAA division II school and do give out volleyball scholarships. If that is something you are interested in, I would highly recommend visiting our athletics section at the www.dominican.edu website.

How is the nursing program there? I really want to become a Registered Nurse.
    • 3560
Nursing is our most popular major. We are currently a direct entry school (meaning that you are accepted to the nursing program and university at the same time and will not need to reapply to a hospital placement as you would at a state school). We also offer a 4 year guarantee on the major (as well as any other program we offer) and provide a 5 semester clinical rotation (instead of the usual) 4 for maximum hospital experience for our nurses.

I've heard that majority of your students are California residents, so they don't dorm or they leave for the weekends. Are there other students that stay in the dorms full time?
    • 3560
There are some students that do choose to leave on the weekends (generally the local students that live in the bay area), but there are always weekend events that keep many other students on campus when there are no classes. Large populations of students from California that are not immediate local also stay in the dormitories full time.
