Hello, my name is DeAndre Kocsis (pronoun: KO'CHess or KOsis). I am 4th gen Hungarian Am + African Am. I LOVE BASEBALL (RHP on the Sauk Valley CC Skyhawks). 5/2009 metaled 8th @ State in Discus 4A-1 Div High Schools. HS GPA= 3.75, finished HS in 3 yrs and was a member of NHS, Police Explorers, work PT & involved in community svc. Obtained 4 college Chem/Lab cr's during HS and currently studing Criminal Justice with a SVCC GPA=3.14, as I wish to become a US Air Marshall. SVCC=member of Criminal Justice & Trio Clubs. Hard working student/athlete, to transfer to a 4 yr university

Baseball

Live, Eat & Sleep Baseball. I am a RHP & like playing OF, 3B & Catcher, but can play any position needed.

Soccer

I play forward, mid-field & defender. Least favorite position is Goalie.

FCCLA

I sold the most bracelets & attended the spring confrence in Phoenix this year.

Murder in the Kinife Room

I was the Retired General & a Backstreet Boy in the play, which was a great success and I really enjoyed acting in it.

Member of T.O.B.A.C. (Teens On the Battle Against Cigarettes/Chew), participated in London Bridge Rd, Rotary Park & Jet Ski Nationals clean up projects. Assembled trophies for Special Olympics

Sophmore Float

Helped design & assemble the Sophmore Float and rode in the Homecoming Parade

Elementary Library Mouse

I volunteered for Mrs Levensailor to be the Book Mouse "Geronimo" at Jamaica Elementary Library book party for the kids.

LHPD Explorer Program

I am an official police explorer with our local department.

Colt Baseball

Coach John gave me the highest honor of being Team Captain and he told me it was because the kids looked up to me and I was a leader.

I assist Mrs. Cross in her classroom, run errands, advise fellow students and any thing else she needs 1 hr per day.
