i have romantic ideas about the world. i like singing nineties pop songs at the top of my lungs, hot tea and eskimo kisses, caring about others and not having a care in the world, art and in context, homemade presents, picking strawberries on warm june days, late night conversations on the kitchen floor, and when i used to eat lucky charms and watch barney every morning before preschool.
i'm eighteen. Christian, abstinent, vegetarian, drug-free, and i love life.

- Haystack Mountain School of Crafts
- Was one of seventy-five students in the state of Maine to be selected to attend a four-day workshop at the school and participated in the Pinhole Photography workshop.
- Building Your Portfolio class at MECA
- Focused on figure drawing, still life, and how to build a strong portfolio for applying to top art colleges.
- Varsity Cross Country
- Captain Senior Year, received the Coaches Award for dedication to my individual goals and to the team, competed in Regional Championships (3 Years), competed in Maine State Championships (1 Year). Improved 5k time from 31 minutes freshman year to 24 minut
- Varsity Outdoor Track
- Captain Senior Year, won 4x400m relay at 2008 Maine State Championships, placed 6th at 2007 Western Maine Conference Championships in the 400m Dash, placed 5th at State Championships in 4x1 in 2006 & 2009 and 7th in 2007, and placed 7th at the State Champ
- Varsity Indoor Track
- Captain Senior Year, qualified for the State Championships in the 400m dash in 2009, placed 5th at the in the 4x200m Relay in the 2008 Maine State Championships and 7th in 2009.

- Participated in the two-week summer program located in Ocean Park, Maine as a camper for four years and as a staff member for one year.

- Attend Church regularly and participate in various events in Church and with Youth Group.

- Have participated in Mixed Chorus, Maine District II Choir, Chamber Choir, and Treble Choir.

- Have participated in school club to discuss and help raise awareness about various issues and encourage tolerance.

- Have participated in various volunteer work coordinated by my church such as clearing trails at Landholm Landtrust & Conservation, volunteering at St. Andres Nursing home, etc.

- Pre-College at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston
- Classes taken were Digital Photography, Observational Painting, Printmaking, Drawing, Video, Sound, Performance Art, Sculpture and Installation. The five-week program also included trips to museums, visiting artists, and a final exhibition.

- Attended two-week conference as a camper for three consecutive years and then was selected to become a staff member. Helped guide campers and provide a positive and supportive environment.
