I'm very passionate about serving my community in the field of medicine. I was born in OKC, OK on my parent's 5th wedding anniversary. I'm an active member in HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America) and NHS (National Honors Society). I'm a high school graduate and I am going to Baylor University in the fall to pursue a career as a Neo-natal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
Extracurricular
- Symphony Orchestra
- In Symphony Orchestra at PCN, we play a variety of pieces from pop genres to classical and baroque periods. Every Tuesday and Thursday starting in the fall we have after school rehearsal from 3:45pm-5:15pm.
- Volunteered helping counselors at high school
- I worked in the main office helping with faxes and filing any paper work they needed.
- National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine
- I was nominated for this summer program where I spent 10 days in Houston, TX learning about the medical field. We learned how to be professional in a medical setting and went to hospitals to see the various jobs in medicine.
