The name 'Quinnipiac' (pronounced "KWIN-uh-pe-ack") is from a Native American word meaning 'turning point' - appropos for this time in your life! The open house is on our Mount Carmel campus at 275 Mt. Carmel Ave in Hamden, CT 06518.
North Branford is very close to us. It's probably a 10 or 20 minute drive.

For those who can’t get into Trinity or Conn College, here comes Quinnipiac University to the rescue. Major expansion of programs and facilities has put it on the New England liberal arts college map. Best known to the public for its political polling.

School summary

Quinnipiac, founded in 1929, is a private, multipurpose university. Its 300-acre campus is located in Hamden, nine miles from metropolitan New Haven.
