Trinity Lutheran College is a Christian liberal arts institution that combines intentional instruction regarding the Christian faith with rigorous academics and practical education. We offer a variety of academic majors to equip our students to be tomorrow's leaders.

Founded in 1944, Trinity began as an arm of the Minneapolis-based Lutheran Bible Institute with the mission of training laypersons in Bible Study. Today the college is a regionally recognized Christian liberal arts college, with 80% of our alumni holding leadership roles in their spiritual communities.

  • The Admissions Office hosted a wonderful gathering of admitted students and families last Sunday at the Brammer Chapel. Twenty-three students and their families attended and received great information about the college. The event was followed by a BBQ at the boathouse, hosted by the Trinity Crew team.

The Trinity Lutheran Cross Country Team competed at the PLU Invitational. Kathryn Schaefer (JR, Burnsville MN) achieved a school record for the 6000 meter distance with a time of 26:00.92 and finished in 16th place overall. Her time was a startling 57 seconds faster than her previous best set earlier this year. With her time she qualifies automatically to the NCCAA National Championship meet in Cedarville, Ohio, on Nov. 11.
