Clayton State University
Clayton State University is located 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Georgia in a beautiful lakeside setting. The University currently offers eight master's degree programs, more than 30 baccalaureate degree programs, six pre-professional tracks, four associate degree programs, and two one-year certificate programs. With an enrollment of 6,600 students, Clayton State has experienced significant growth over the past six years. The University is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as having the most diverse student population among comprehensive baccalaureate-level colleges and universities in the Southern United States.
A national pioneer in mobile computing, Clayton State was the third public university to require that each student have access to a notebook computer and has distinguished its learning environment as one of a small number of "Notebook Universities." Clayton State University is the only university in the country adjacent to both state and national archives facilities: the Georgia Archives and the National Archives and Records Administration Southeast Region. The world-class music recital venue, Spivey Hall, is located on the University's main campus. The University's athletics program features 12 men's and women's sports and competes in NCAA Division II in the Peach Belt Athletic Conference.
In addition to its main campus in Morrow, Georgia, Clayton State also maintains regional sites at Peachtree City, McDonough, and Conyers, Georgia.
