I am currently enrolled at Chicago State University and am pursuing a degree in elementary education. This is my fourth time being enrolled as a college student, but this juncture finds me more determined than ever to achive this goal. As mother of seven and special education teacher's assistant in Chicago Public Schools, my experience and "life applications" are invaluable and motivational to say the least. On a more personal level, after losing a son last May, I assumed that I would not be focused enough and/or too disturbed in general to continue. By the grace of God, I ddid continue and find myself at this juncture, which is a more explicit testament of my determination. Any efforts or considerations in my behalf would be greatly appreciated.
