How closely connected is Chatham University to other schools in the area? Does the school take part in any cross-collegiate events with them?

Thanks for the question, Kelsie! Academically, Chatham allows students to cross-register with other universities in the area. Socially, since Chatham is such a small school, we coordinate events with other universities in the city. Chatham is also athletically involved with nearby universities (http://pacathletics.org/).

Q: Does the college offer any health insurance coverage?

A: Yes, it does. All full time students are required to have health insurance. Chatham health insurance can be waived, if a student is able to prove they have some other health insurance. Students who do not have health insurance or fail to prove ownership of health insurance are automatically enrolled in Chatham's health insurance.

Q: Does your school have any programs to connect students with internship opportunities?

A: Yes! Our career services department, located on the third floor of the library, is incredibly helpful in finding internships (http://careers.chatham.edu/students/internship.html). Other than that, you always have your own department/professors who usually forward along any internship information they might come across.

Q: What percentage of classes are taught by grad students instead of professors?

A: INCREDIBLY few. I've actually only heard of one class that had a TA, and that was an abnormally large psychology class.
