I like starting off essays with quotes. One of my favorites is "It is better to deserve honors and not have them than to have them and not to deserve them." by Mark Twain. I love reading in my spare time and I'm always playing some kind of sport; softball being my favorite. I also like to hang out with my friends and laugh at anything, everything, and even sometimes nothing at all. My parents are divorced and I live with my mom, my hero, in a tiny one bathroom house. What a pain it is when we're getting ready in the morning! She has MS so I'm always worried, but we get through it together. =)

Extracurricular

Varsity Softball Team

I've played varsity softball since my 9th grade year. My main position is center field.

Varsity Volleyball Team

I've played volleyball all four years of high school and played on the varsity team for two years. I was a middle blocker and outside hitter.

Varsity Track team

I've been on the varsity track team for four years. I throw shot put and discus. Shot Put- 2 time district champ (regional qualifier) Discus- 2 time regional qualifier, regional champ (state qualifier)

Interact Club

I participate in Interact Club which is a club devoted to volunteer service.

Student Council

I was the class representative.

Powerlifting

I compete in my weight class to see who can lift the most weight.

Played with a tournament team during the summer.

My team went to different places and played in softball tournaments in the summer.
