Hi my name is Brian Acharya-Gaither. I was born in Hamburg, Germany. I moved to the U.S. when i was five. At 11 my step-dad adopted me and I began the immigration process. Now I am a permanent citizen. At 15, my step-dad was stricken with throat cancer. We have been in and out of the hospital ever since, dealing with the surgery and radiation. It has been very hard on my family but i have still been able to be involved in school and sports. I play football and do hurdles in track. I am VP of Web Design Club, a member of Skills USA, mentor program and Close Up.
