Kadena High School Dod Class of 2013
Killeen, TX

My name is Breanna Engelhardt, and I turned sixteen on June 4th. I was born in Leesville, Louisiana, and mainly raised in Central Texas. Both of my parents serve in the military (Army), so I have lived in both Hawaii and Texas and attended five schools total. We are currenty stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Kadena Air Base.
I am of Christian faith, and I honor the Lord and thank him for all He has given me, and I pray that He will continue to do so in my years to come. Everything I achieve and recieve will always be returned right back to Him. :)
In school, I do my best to recieve high grades, and have copious awards in my room; my best core class--English! :D Other than English, I also speak French. Bonjour, mes amis! Ca va? :p
Other than my ambitions of being a professional author, I also want to become a professional musician and study at Angelo State University in Texas. I have been playing music ever since I was in the sixth grade. I play the flute, piccolo, violin, and every saxophone. Earlier this year I was made into an honorary Thespian, and Drum Major for Kadena High School's marching band!
As for my personality, I am very ambitious and lovable. People always tell me that I'm fun to be around, and I love making people laugh with my witty, sarcastic remarks and silly antics :p This side of me, however, only comes out when I know a person well. I can be described as shy and quiet when one doesn't know me. When I first meet people or I am in a room with unfamiliars, you will seldom hear a word from me, and I will keep to myself.
Other than music and writing, I also love film and broadcasting. For the school, I am usually the person called to work the sound boards and lighting. I also love making videos for KBN.
As for the writer side of me, I've been writing ever since I was a litte girl--somewhere around the age of eight. Ever since I've been writing, many people--adults and younger people alike--have told me that I have a talent and a flare for writing. Even as a child and the age I am now at, I've been told that my language and structure was well beyond my years :) I began working on my first real book, "Unobtrusive," when I was twelve after the idea, characters, and plot came to me in a dream. After two years of planning, writing, tweaking, and constantly revising, I believe that "Unobtrusive" is ready for the world to know about.
