Bluffton students start returning from cross-cultural experiences later this week. More than 130 students experienced 3 weeks in Colombia, Guatemala, Iceland, Israel/Palestine, Urban Chicago, the Gulf Coast, Appalacchian Kentucky or New York City. Can't wait to hear their stories and see their photos!

Three Bluffton professors have received a grant promoting faculty summer research. Tami Forbes is working on a "2012 Catch and Release Fishing Proposal." Ross Kauffman is studying "Local Applications of GIS and Mapping with Open Source Resources." Kate Spike is researching "Usage of English and Setswana in Botswana."

“It never ceases to amaze me what these young people have accomplished.” John Lammers, an Ottawa-Glandorf HS senior who started a basketball camp for children with disabilities, was named the 2012 Leader of Tomorrow last night at Bluffton. Congrats!
