Hello, I'm Ava Smith and I shall tell you a little bit about me! I'm a senior in my high school, and am involved in clubs that are associated with diversity, science and giving back to my school and community. I am passionate about animals and I enjoy acting in my school's theater productions. I love to dance, sing, read, and spend time with my friends and family.

- SMAP(Science Math Awareness Program)
- SMAP is a school club that works in the beginning of the school year to compete at our state's Science Olympiad.
- School Yearbook
- I am the Faculty Editor for the 2010-2011 school year.
- International Club of Cultural Arts
- The International Club of Cultural Arts is a school club that works to educate our community about the different cultures and heritages around us. I am Secretary for the school year of 2010-2011.
- School Drama Club
- The school's Drama Club puts on 3 shows a year, 2 plays and a musicale. Since I joined in the winter of sophomore year, I have performed in 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum', 'Pride and Prejudice', 'The Inspector General' and 'Much Ado abou
- Water Works
- Water Works is a school club that my group of friends created which is affliated with the non-profit organization charity:water. We have organized events in our community that have raised money towards a well in underdeveloped countries.
- School Drama Club's Traveling Troupe
- Piscataway High School's Traveling Troupe is comprised of select members of the Drama Club, who audition, and perform small productions. Last year, as part of the Traveling Troupe I performed select scenes from 'The Canterbury Tales'.
- World Language Honor Society
- The World Language Honor Society participates in a number of activities including after school tutoring sessions with students, and the Haunted Halloween at the high school. It has also raised money for the disasters in Chile and Haiti recently.

- This past year, the French Club participated in French Christmas Caroling around the High School and in a senior citizen center.

I was one of Piscataway High School's nominations for the Governor's School of Environment in New Jersey.
