- For six years I have been a Leader-In-Training for the AWANA program. I have been a co-games leader for four years and love it! I volunteer every Sunday night from 5:30-7pm. I love having the opportunity to get to know the kids! I work with kids from Kindergarten to sixth grade.

- I competed in a competitive speech league called STOA from Freshman until Junior year. I love public speaking! I competed mainly in the Interpretation category. In this category, the competitor chooses a piece of literature, memorizes it and acts it out which creates about a 10 minute play. I have reached the National Tournament with all interpretation speeches I have ever competed with. At the 2011 National Tournament I won first place with my rendition of Edgar Allan Poe's poem, The Raven.
