Ashley is originally from Littleton, CO, and moved with her family to Bloomington, IN in the summer of 2002. She played volleyball, basketball and competed in the high jump and discus in track. She graduated high school in 2006 and came to Southern Virginia University the following fall. She played basketball all four years of college, with two appearances at the USCAA National Championship. Ashley found her husband at SVU after being set up with him by her roommates’ fiancé. Ashley and her husband, Kenson were married in July, 2011 and live in Buena Vista while Kenson finishes up school. Kenson is a Business major and plans to graduate in the next year, and then enter the Air Force. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sports, games, and loves her small town life in this beautiful part of the country.”
