- 9999+To be COMPLETELY honest, I have no idea what the correct answer is to the first question. My advice would be to look around on http://www.theatre.appstate.edu/ or call/email the Chairperson of the Theatre and Dance Department, Marianne Adams at (828)262-3028 or adamsm@appstate.edu. I'm sorry I'm not very helpful on that question, but I do more or less know the answer to the second question! Basically, you sign up at the Club Fair at the beginning of the year or online at https://sdr.appstate.edu/sdr/clubs/436 and let them know exactly what you're interested in. Pretty much, interest is all that's needed to participate. If you're interested in being a DJ, there's probably an interview process, but other than that, it's pretty easy to participate. I hope that helped!

- 9999+First of all, let me just apologize for how long it's taken me to reply to this! I've been on break, so I'm not quite thinking straight yet :p I just looked under the "Theatre" category in my class search and "The Stage Environment", "Production Running Crew", "Theatrical Costume", "Makeup", "Stage Management" and many more are classes, so I'm guessing, yes. To be sure, though, I would contact Lynne Waugh at either (828)262-2167 or waughlw@appstate.edu. I've never spoken specifically to Mrs. Waugh, but everyone I've ever met in the Advising Center is nothing less than extremely helpful! Good luck and again I apologize for my late reply!

- 9999+Personally, I would talk to your coach about it, and even call the head coach of whatever team you're interested and go from there! Be persistent with your coach though, it'll make sure he knows you're serious about it. :)

- 9999+As far as I can tell, it is possible to get your Bachelor's degree in both French and Spanish. I'm not sure about Italian or German. I just looked at class catelog and there were categories in German, Latin, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese. I would assume that would mean you could at LEAST minor in those languages. App does have an English Education major, if you are interested in teaching English as a second language. I would highly suggest making a list of any questions I wasn't able to answer and call the Academic Advising office at App: 828-262-2167. The advisor's are absolute awesome and SO helpful! I hope I helped at least a little bit? :)
- 9999+Catalog* I hate when I misspell things. Sorry about that.
- 9999+Another thing: you can also get a Bachelor's Degree in English!
- 795Thank you so much! :D

- 9999+Short answer: From what I've heard, yes. The class is a good class. Longer answer: I actually have friends who are currently taking Political Science! They say that it is a challenging course, but they also say it's their most interesting class! I guess it's what you want to take from it. Most schools have tough Political Science classes, but it's also a tough, but interesting, field.

- 9999+If you definitely want to go to AppState, apply early! Show your interest in them & they'll show their interest in you! Go Mountaineers!
- 9999+As a junior, go visit during one of their open houses. Meet the faculty in your area or areas of interest. Meet your admissions rep so they get to know your name! Apply for scholarships early. Now is not too early to get on the "college path." But, most importantly, really work on getting & keeping your GPA high your Jr. year! Take the SAT's multiple times. If you're good in specific areas - take the SAT subject tests, but 1st check their list of subject tersts they allow for college credit. All colleges don't give credit for all tests. It's on the Appstate website!
