Hi:) My legal name is Amelia.. but please, call me Amie. I am a Junior at Lincoln East High School in Lincoln, NE.. I run track. I ran Varsity as a Freshman and as a Sophomore. I love being myself. I am a fun loving and outgoing person.

Extracurricular

Varsity Track 2010 to Now
I run track for Lincoln East High School. I have been a member of the Varsity squad since I was a freshman in high school.

Ambassadors 2010 to Now
Our school has a "club" called Ambassadors. We help new students, special ed students, and foreign exchange students in all their tasks. We give tours and help them get acquainted to life at our high school.

CrossRoads 2009 to Now
I am a singer in our Youth Church Band. We lead worship on the first Sunday of every month at 7:00 PM at our church.

Servant Team 2009 to Now
I do service projects with my church on Monday mornings (in the summer) and evenings (during the school year). We have done many different things such as pack food at Kids Against Hunger, to cleaning random places.

I was on the No Limits Youth Board- Nebraska Chapter. We address the fact that Big Tobacco does a lot of marketing towards teenagers.

I help lead a Bible Study at my church. We incorporate Christian Music, the Bible, and the experiences the members of the Bible Study share to enhance our understanding of Christianity.

I have been on honor roll all five semesters of high school. I also have been awarded the Spartan Excellence Award in 2010 for track, as a freshman. I have also been awarded the Presidential Service Award twice, once as a freshman and once as a sophomore.
