Polite and diligent, I take great pride in what I am involved in at school and among the community. I am well-rounded student with great work ethic, as I prefer to think outside the box and/or be "a step ahead." One of my favorite hobbies is reading, which is the reason why I finish a book almost every week. My favorite author is George Orwell, author of 1984 and Animal Farm, as well as a large collection of short stories and essays (one being "Shooting an Elephant"). I also like to spend some time volunteering at the nursing home, where I make many interesting friends.

Within Key CLub, I have helped with the Red Cross, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), Greater Waterville Homeless Shelter, Nursing Home, Tufts Medical Center, Kiwanis, Waterville City Council, Elks Lodge, and many other activities to come.

Outing Club is always a given in Maine. Yet over the years, I realized that skills utilized for wilderness survival is actually quite helpful in everyday situations.
