- My mother, aunt and grandmother have all been involved with art by teaching it, selling their artwork etc. so it comes by no surprise that I like it too. It's a great way for me to express myself when I feel I can't in writing or dancing.
- Writing (English & Portuguese)
- I've written since i've learnt the alphabet. Ironically, I think this passion is the only thing I can describe in words.
- Debating
- I love understanding politics as well as writing about it-- which is why i'm looking into journalism and political science. I hope my career allows me to do both.
- volunteered to give food at the favelas
- I went to a church a couple of months ago to sign up for a program that allowed me to give food to the people in the favelas (slums). I got to know them and still keep in touch.
- Christmas Presents/Elderly home
- I went to an elderly home and gave presents to patients currently checked in. They had been discarded by their families, the ones that still had families that is.
- Book Drive
- I organized a book drive for the whole school to bring in the books they didn't want. When they did that-- we would re-sell their donated books to come up with money to buy books in the library.
- Peace Wall
- I organized an event to promote peace in my school. I bought paint for everybody to put their hand prints on the wall. Everybody payed one real to do it and we sent the money to the UN Refugee center.
- Volunteered at a cancer hospital

- A three week course abroad in which we learn about different cultures by working and living with people around the world as well as broadening our aspect on the course we choose (photography, directing, acting &/or dance)

- This was my first year in the UN so it was hard in the beginning because I wasn't quite sure of the rules. It didn't matter though-- we got through it after asking a couple of people and reading the rule book and in the end, i'm proud to say we managed mo
- Recycled Art
- I wanted to show the school that what counts is not our money but our creativity. So I made an ECA (After school activity) in which people would bring recycled paper/metal/plastic/etc. and we would make our art.

- I have created and/or lead many projects in my school such as the Peace Wall, Book Drive, Community Donations and soon to be our new Santa Catarina Flood assistance unit.
