Hi, I'm Alexie. I am an overall optimistic average person. I learned to appreciate the big and little things in life and thank God for everything I have. I'm easy to get along with and get a kick out of helping people. I play soccer and rugby, they are both a passion for me. I plan on doing many mission trips around the world or joining the Peace Corps. Helping people is the number one thing I want to do with my life. Not only am I involved in sports and volunteering, I am academically involved. I make A's and B's and take challenging classes ranging from honors to advanced placement.

We do a lot of fundraisers and community service projects. I really enjoy being in this club because I love to volunteer around the community and help people. :)

Photography

I got into photography about 3 years ago. Photography to me is just something I like to do on my own time. I just love capturing those special kodak moments with my family and friends and making a picturesque scene last forever.

Mission Trip: Mexico 2009

Last summer I went to Monterrey, Mexico for 9 days with my youth group. My church is partnered with a small church in Mexico and my youth group go every year to contribute to finishing and building a kindergarten school.

I did this with my school's Key Club. We went house to house telling people about what UNICEF was doing and asking for donations. My school raised the most money out of our state

I help watch/teach my church body's kids about the gospel. Usually the 1st and 2nd graders.

Catering

The culinary arts program at my school does a lot of catering events and I was lucky enough to participate in a few. I helped prepare the foods and clean up. :) I found it a very enjoyable experience and it gave a taste of what it is like to work in food
