Hi, my name is Akita. I am an AVID Junior in Banning High. It's a really small town, and an even smaller school. I am a proud filipina. I have six siblings-five brothers and one sister. Three of my brothers are older than me and the rest are younger. My parents are still happily married, and my two eldest brothers are in college, with the third getting ready to go. I am a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or Mormon. I participate in a bunch of extra curricular activities and I am very outgoing. I love my friends and family.

I have been involved in Women's Tennis since I was a freshman.

Hobby

I love photography. I love taking pictures and hopefully get better at it.

A.V.I.D.

I was the president for the AVID freshman and AVID juniors. I helped organized a lot of fundraisers.

I recently learned how to play piano and I love it alot.

Young Women's Program

In my church we have a young women's program and we participate in many service projects. I was the Maimaid president for two years. Then I got moved up to the Laurel secretary.

Friday Night Live (FNL)

It's a club advocating against drugs and smoking. We take a yearly trip to six flags with other members of the club. This was my first year involved in this club.
