Im adopted and hopefully i can win this money to pay for books

I would be ecstatic if I got this scholarship. I'm very passionate about economics and Adam Smith's ideas. Free trade is beneficial, and it's important for people to understand that protectionism is bad. I intend to help the world someday, and hopefully I can repair some of the damage that our government has inflicted on our economy. My ambition is

Adopted mother and father desceased, living with my sister and her two kids. Not able to focus living in this perdicument.

Deceased father, single mum, two kids (my brother & I) going to college this year. That and other problems classify my family's position. Being an international student makes us ineligible for most scholarships in addition. But I realize there will always be somebody less fortunate than we and so I just hope that thy who needs it the most gets it.

Im intrested in Computer Engineering. Computers are always avalible.

I'm going into the restaurant business with an As in Culinary arts. People will always eat food, no matter what happens to the rest of the world, so what better business to go into?

I want to start my own photography business after I graduate, so economics are important to me. I really enjoyed taking a course on it last spring, and even considered it as a major, but...photography won out! ;-)

My relatable social skills and keen math skills will help me in the Business field. I believe that this scholarship deepens my commitment to the development of my education and my future career.

I absolutely love economics. AP Micro and Macro were two of my three favorite courses in all of high school, and Freakonomics and the lesser-known The Baseball Economist are two of my favorite books.
