I am about to graduate from the University of Hawaii with a BS in Geology and Geophysics. I plan to go to graduate school in the UK and unfortunately they don't fund American students. This scholarship will help me get my masters degree and from there I'd like to get my PhD.

I will study Intercultural Studies at Moody Bible Institute in inner city Chicago, Fall 2010. I plan to mentor the undergrads while I am there, doing community service, going camping, and talking about the important issues of life. This scholarship will allow me to spend more time with them.
