About me: I'm a 17 yr. old h.s. sr. from a small town in Delaware. I aspire to help my community by becoming a pharmacist. I am ranked in the top 7.5% of my class & also am taking college English at Del. Tech. College. I’m president for my 4-H club, Sr. Patrol Leader & Order of the Arrow Rep. for my Scout Troop. I am an Eagle Scout. Received the Prudential Spirit of Community Award & am a National Point of Light honoree for collecting shoes for orphans. I am an active member of my church & have a strong faith that God will see me through every situation. I will make a difference.

Activities: I am very involved in my church, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Key Club, Boy Scouts, 4-H, and Order of the Arrow. I hope to continue to be active in these organizations and more as an adult. I am an Eagle Scout. I enjoy public speaking and community service.

How would I move Mount Fuji: FAITH!! I know from Matthew 17:20 that even if your faith is smaller than a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you. God is good!

About me: JAKE. 18. High School SENIOR (RHS Warrior). Throughout high school, I've been an active leader in SADD, MESA, StuCo, Knowledge Bowl, Sci. Bowl&Olympiad, NHS, Key Club, Speech& Debate & Tennis. I am ranked 1st my class. I'm a person of extreme dedication, faith, and hard work. I strive for success on a very high level. Born and raised in Ruidoso, NM, I'm looking for a way to realize the ambition I have of conquering the world, and all of it's obstacles. But my journey toward accomplishment begins here and now, as I thirst for knowledge, and continue in search of a higher education

Together, we would decide how we, as a team, wanted to do something that was bigger than each of us individually, but quite possible working together. Andy is both and super underclassman and part of the 1000 club (got north of 1K votes in the semis). Jake's is one year Andy's senior and apparently rolls in cognito, so we'll see.

JAKE is super amazing, i go to school with him and he has never put anyone down because of what he or she looks like, and he's a volunteer, for any kind of charity work he just a normal 17 year old junior who helps people, I dont think anyone is as desreving as he is.

Andy abilities seem to be endless. Whatever task is placed before him you can rest assured it will be completed. I have been Andy's scout master for the past two years and our troop has been blessed to have a leader with Andy's abilities. He is completing his Eagle project and will soon earn scouting's highest rank of Eagle Scout. GO Andy!!!!

I know Andy thru his affiliation for 4-H where he has volunteered countless hrs of Comm. Service. This is one unselfish young man! Delaware is very proud to have Andy as their representative and his community is returning favor for all he has done for them. These are votes of love and respect a teen who has done a lot for everyone else. Go Andy!

Andy has shown his love and dedication to his scouting troop by volunteering to be a moving target for his blind troop's shotgun shooting merit badge. His willingness to put his life on the line each and every day is something I have never seen in anyone else!

Jake is the greatest kid in the world, he tries hard at everything he does, he has faith and believes that with God's help he can accomplish anything. He deserves this scholorship, because he will change the world for the better. Jake is in the top of his class. GO JAKE!!!!

Although this contest might not be all that close at this point, the reality is that no matter how many votes a person can muster up, that in no way makes them any more deserving than someone who works equally, if not much harder than them. I appreciate people who really work hard, and I won't go down without a fight.
