About me: I have mastered Korean Dance for 12 years. I have learned to play the piano, flute, violin, and cello. I attended an international arts festival in Korea for second generation Koreans. I taught my peers Korean Dance. I taught Korean to other second generation Koreans like me. I won a national Korean Dance competition. I gave a free hug. I taught piano to children with disabilities. I gave my seat to an elder. I volunteered to support immigrant rights. I play the flute for my church's praise team. All this I have done, but I have yet to go to college to make an even bigger impact on the world.

Activities: Korean Traditional Dance, Co-founder and Vice President of Korean Club, Secretary of Dance Theater Club, Girl Scouts Asian Task Force of Nassau County, Flutist of church Praise Team, Korean School and Flute Teacher of my church, Christian Club,National Honor Society,National Tri-M Honor Society, etc.

How would I move Mount Fuji: As it says in the bible in Matthew 17:20-"...if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'"I would ask God to give me faith to believe that moving a huge mountain like Mt. Fuji is possible.

It’s been fun to see Mackenzie’s hard work. She’s doing a great job of rallying her peeps. Sunny just finished a close battle, so I expect a good run from her. Did you know that these two competitors are 353 miles apart, both located in the great state of New York? That’s a six hour drive. Most significant, almost right in the middle of that drive is Scranton, PA. Haha, home of my favorite tv comedy…

Coming soon...

Kenzie has been shredding some powder in this comp. Sunny’s been meltin’ the competition. The sun can melt the snowman (or woman), but the mountain can block the sun, or even a little SPF 55. hmmm. I’m a sucker for sunny days and slurpees. Kenzie, hope you have some sun screen, you need to turn the day to night to continue on.

Hey girls - good luck in your matchup! I think you should put up some sort of snowboarding video, Mackenzie.. that'd be pretty cool. As for you, Sunny, that's my next door neighbor's name also. In case you care. haha, but also I watched your korean dance video - pretty sweet!

Mackenzie is awesome! I think any guy would be lucky to have her. Sunny is too, but a girl that snowboards is a thing of beauty.

GO SUNNY!!!!!!!! if any deserves this, it's sunny song. the most smartest & most dedicated person I know. she's so hardcore! besides, i'm sure mackenzie is great too and snowboarding is cool, but she does attend a SUNY school and she is a new york state resident, meaning it cheaper than emory which is like 40K a year.

dude, mac doesn't need 20 grand, she goes to a SUNY school PEOPLE!!THINK!! she lives in NY meaning she doesn't hav to pay much. I think psychologically mac used her pic with snowboard to atract many people to think that she's "cool" if im offending anyone sorry, but i think mac should look for other scholarships..20grand.what would she do w the $?

I think Sunny has a much greater reason to get this money and I can personally say that she has alot of potential. Going to college with this money would take some pressure off of her and help her concentrate more on her work and thus creating more chances of her doing something helpful for a cause.
Jennifer O'Neill (Valley Stream, New York) wrote at 4/7/2008 6:09:42 PM
exactly! it's not all about how cool snowboarding is, guys. think about who really has the better reason to get the scholarship..! and hopefully, you'll make the right choice.
