Kayleen Hannaway ( votes)

Philomath High School | Class of 2008 | Philomath, Oregon, USA

About me: My goal is to always continue improving myself. I respect any person or book, or any medium for that matter, that helps me reach my goal. The most important part of my life is my religion, but I don't like the stereotypes that go along with saying that, so I don't bring attention to it. I think any person should have a set of values that they live by, instead of making decisions depending on the situation. Human beings are too influenced by temporary emotions for that to be successful. I have specific short and long terms goals and don't expect anything less than success for my future.

Activities: volleyball, softball, Corvallis Youth Symphony, church activities and youth weekends, snowboarding, wakeboarding, reading books by Ayn Rand and any books that help me understand more about human nature, learning about autistic savants and the nervous system, hanging out with my twin, traveling

How would I move Mount Fuji: I will create a school where educators are made most effective by their use of the best information and technology. Students will be encouraged to make connections between facts in order to create new ideas. These new ideas will move mountains.Scroll down to type in security code, then click Vote Me

Carrollton Christian Academy | Class of 2009 | Carrollton, Texas, USA

About me: I'm just a fun-loving, knowledgeable, friendly guy from Texas who isn't waiting to make a difference later in life. I want to make a difference now. I'm part of several activities and am in a leadership role of some sort in just about all of them. I work extremely hard in everything that I do and I will never settle for mediocrity. I've really been intentional about making myself a well-rounded person and I want to continue that in college. I know that my purpose in life is to glorify my God and I'm living life to its fullest. I am ready to change the world, so I'll start here. Why wait?

Activities: I run cross country and track and play soccer. I'm an actor who loves theater and speech competitions. I'm obsessed with mock trial and I'm in science olympiad. I'm also senior class president and a member of the leadership corps. International missions is a huge part of my life, as is my church.

How would I move Mount Fuji: A big push should do it. If not, climb it and dominate it.

So Kayleen, is Philomath like “love math” or am I thinking too hard. I’m a fan of the Warrior mascot. Kirk, do you guys have a mascot? Anyway, this is a matchup that will be sure to please- Kirk seems to have a more overt attack, while Kayleen goes about her game fairly quietly. I think both are ‘beating the streets.’

Kirk, watch out, you are about to find out about the silent assassin. Kayleen is the best kept secret. Quietly moving through this comp and preying on those that underrate her. Wait a sec. Is this an 8 letter last name battle? Oh, this is going to be good. Last name’s equal out, and Kirk’s got the shorter first name. I stand by my previous match up statement. Shorter names have the edge. But maybe Kirk’s real name is Kirkinly? This is on.

Ladies and Gents! Kayleen once again has my vote of confidence. Sorry Kirk, but it looks like your going to get assassinated by this not-so-silent, lean, mean (only during jazz band), sofball game winning, Hannaway.
