Philomath High School | Class of 2008 | Philomath, Oregon, USA

About me: My goal is to always continue improving myself. I respect any person or book, or any medium for that matter, that helps me reach my goal. The most important part of my life is my religion, but I don't like the stereotypes that go along with saying that, so I don't bring attention to it. I think any person should have a set of values that they live by, instead of making decisions depending on the situation. Human beings are too influenced by temporary emotions for that to be successful. I have specific short and long terms goals and don't expect anything less than success for my future.

Activities: volleyball, softball, Corvallis Youth Symphony, church activities and youth weekends, snowboarding, wakeboarding, reading books by Ayn Rand and any books that help me understand more about human nature, learning about autistic savants and the nervous system, hanging out with my twin, traveling

How would I move Mount Fuji: I will create a school where educators are made most effective by their use of the best information and technology. Students will be encouraged to make connections between facts in order to create new ideas. These new ideas will move mountains.Scroll down to type in security code, then click Vote Me

Two champs from two relatively obscure parts of the country. Both have left a lot of exceptional students in their wake. You know what I really like about these two? Both have something personal that fuels their fire- feeds the passion. I imagine you could sit down and chat with either and they could light up a good conversation that makes you think. For Phuong it takes a playful tone- I love the video! Kayleen has vision and drive that are beyond her years- Let me guess, you finished reading 'Atlas Shrugged' before you started high school? Come on now, no sense it making the rest of us look so slow?! Good luck to both.

This is it. The last round. We are around the corner from crowning the Zinch 2008 Sweet Diggity Dawg. Phuong has been a fierce competitior in every match, but has come out victorious so far. She has pulled out her YouTube video and Rubik's Cube and is ready to rumble. Kayleen has rallied commited strong supporters. Her followers have been active in commenting and voting. She has come a long way from winning out round two with only 736 votes to taking the final four with 4,819. This is the last stand. Pull out all the stops. Who is going to do what it takes to wrap it up and take it home?

Kayleen vs. Phuong--- This is the match-up we’ve been waiting for! Two PTPers (Prime Time Players) going toe to toe. We’ve seen Kayleen wrestle an alligator and Phuong tussle with a whale, I’m picking whoever can handcuff lightning, throw thunder in jail. This is going down so crazy it’ll make medicine sick. It’s all on you girls, show us what you got!

other stuff.

Contestants, send us a video so we can put here. View this example. Email a link of your stuff to us at marchmadness@zinch.com

Both Kayleen and Phuong are amazing people that are going to do amazing things with their lives. That said, I would just like to let everyone know what a truly wonderful and amazing person Kayleen Hannaway is. Words can't describe everything (it may sound sappy, but it's true) that she has to offer all of us. She really needs and deserves this.
