Alright. Big dilemma. I applied at a school - my father paid the fee, not realizing the school was in Florida. I have been fully accepted. Both at Barry University and at its School of Arts & Sciences.

Dilemma: Mom doesn't want her little baby to go 1300 miles away from home, while dad complains about the cost (even though I received a scholarship so long as I keep a 3.9 by the time I graduate HS).

HELP. How can I tell them that this is where I KNOW my future education is going to be?

Alright, if i were you, i would sit them down in the living room together and, with a straight face, tell them that this is where you want to go. Make them seem like you're responsible to take on living 1000 miles away from home. Look at it from their perspective; if you were a parent and you sent your "baby" so far away from home, how would you feel? In the end it's ultimately your decision, let them know that you understand that they're worried, but everything's going 2 be fine. You'll make friends, youll get a great education, and you'll learn new things that you couldn't have learned anywhere else. Plus, you have a scholarship as an added bonus!!

Thank you. I'll give this a try tomorrow night, and hopefully it will follow through!

Thank you so much! ^-^
