Hey, i'm a junior in high school and i plan on going to college to study veterinary medicine. I know it looks good on college applications to have experience working with animals but just how important is it? I want to see if i can volunteer at a local vet clinic but they don't really like having teenagers around. Any ideas?

I think I want to pursue the same thing. Have you found anything out. I was thinking you can always work with animals in your local neighborhood to gain experience when you want do an internship or anything.
